Strategi Guru Agama Hindu dalam Membangun Karakter Berbasis Nilai Tri Hita Karana di SDN 02 Karang Anyar

Abstract
This study aims to describe and analyze the strategies implemented by Hindu Religious Education teachers in building character based on the values of Tri Hita Karana at SDN 02 Karang Anyar. The background of this study is driven by the need to strengthen character education in facing moral and social challenges in the globalization era, as well as the relevance of Tri Hita Karana harmony with God (Parahyangan), with fellow humans (Pawongan), and with nature (Palemahan) as a foundation for holistic character education. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with the primary subjects being Hindu Religious Education teachers at SDN 02 Karang Anyar, and supporting informants including the school principal, other subject teachers, and students. Data collection techniques include participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed interactively using Miles and Huberman's model through reduction, presentation, and verification with source and method triangulation. The findings show that Hindu Religious Education teachers at SDN 02 Karang Anyar implement Tri Hita Karana in an integrated manner across four areas: (1) the learning process in the classroom through thematic approaches and value habituation, (2) school culture and habits, (3) co-curricular and extracurricular activities that foster social and environmental awareness, and (4) collaboration with parents and the community. These strategies effectively increase students' spiritual awareness, social ethics, and environmental consciousness, which in turn strengthens their religious, tolerant, and responsible character.
