Abstract

Women's health, particularly during menstruation, remains a taboo subject and is often not openly discussed in society. Rajaswala Paricharya is a series of behavioral guidelines and lifestyle practices designated for women during menstruation, rooted in Ayurvedic tradition. This article examines the practice of Rajaswala Paricharya as a strategy for interpersonal communication in women's health education and explores its connection to the dietary principles found in the Bhagavad Gita. Furthermore, the study explores the correlation between the recommended dietary patterns in the Bhagavad Gita and their support for women's health during menstruation. Using a descriptive qualitative approach based on literature review, this study highlights how effective interpersonal communication can enhance women's awareness of reproductive and mental health. The findings indicate that integrating Ayurvedic teachings with the spirituality of the Bhagavad Gita offers a holistic approach to women's health promotion that is both preventive and educational. This shows that the understanding and practice of Rajaswala Paricharya can improve the quality of women's communication and reinforce awareness of the importance of nutrition and mental peace as essential components of menstrual self-care.
