Membumikan Komunikasi Islam dalam Kebijakan Pemerintahan untuk Mewujudkan Keharmonisan Sosial
Main Article Content
Abstract
This research aims to explore the relevance of Islamic communication in government policies to realize social harmony in society. Using a qualitative method with a descriptive-analytical approach, data were obtained from related literature and analyzed thematically. This study finds that the gap between the ideal of social harmony and the reality of government policies is influenced by lack of community participation, insensitivity to local contexts, and non-inclusive policies. Islamic communication, which emphasizes the principles of deliberation, justice, and respect for diversity, has proven effective in reducing social conflicts and building solidarity. Islamic values-based education also plays an important role in strengthening social harmony. This study recommends the government to integrate Islamic communication in public policy to create policies that are more responsive, inclusive, and adaptive to the needs of the community. This approach is expected to increase public participation, strengthen trust in the government, and create sustainable social cohesion.
