Membaca Dasein-Heidegger Melalui Filsafat Jawa Sangkan Paraning Dumadi

Abstract
There is a convergence between Heidegger's thought and Eastern Philosophy. This paper aims to illustrate that Heidegger's notion become more accessible when read within the holistic framework of Eastern philosophy, which does not create separations between daily practices, philosophy, and knowledge of the divine. The argument presented in this paper is that Heidegger's concept of Dasein correlates with the Javanese philosophical notion of Sangkan Paraning Dumadi, an archaic Javanese worldview that interprets the origin and purpose of human existence. Reading Dasein through the perspective of Sangkan Paraning Dumadi reveals Dasein as an entity existing within the world, uncovering the meaning of Being—not merely as an intellectual concept but as an experiential and practical realization. This perspective emphasizes immanence and the breadth of divine meaning amidst the pressures of modernity
