Pengaruh Qiraat Terhadap Tarjamah Al- Qur’an

Abstract

Differences in qiraat influence how to translate the Qur'an, especially in terms of interpretation. This research aims to examine the influence of qiraat on the tarjamah of the Al-Qur’an, with a focus on the variations in meaning produced and their implications for the understanding of the holy text. Qiraat, as a variation of the reading of the Qur'an, has an important role in providing different nuances and depth of meaning to certain verses. In this study, descriptive analysis is combined with a qualitative methodology, comparing various versions of qiraat and their translations in several languages. Data was collected through literature study and analysis of the Qur'an text, with a focus on verses that have significant qiraat variations. The research results show that variations in qiraat can produce significant differences in meaning in translation. Case examples in several verses show how these differences can influence the reader's interpretation and understanding of the message conveyed. For example, variations in certain verbs or phrases in the qiraat can change the historical and theological context of the verse. The implications of these findings are very important for Qur'an translators, academics, and clerics, because a deeper understanding of qiraat can help in producing more accurate and contextual translations. In addition, this research opens up opportunities for further study regarding how qiraat can influence interpretation in different cultural and linguistic contexts.
