Abstract

This research explores the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in church ministry through the lens of Christian philosophy. The primary aim is to analyze how AI can be utilized in church service while addressing the ontological, epistemological, and axiological questions it raises. Through extensive literature review, the study reveals the opportunities and challenges AI brings, including enhanced administrative efficiency and data analytics, and the risk of reduced human interaction and spiritual experiences. The research emphasizes balancing technological benefits with core Christian values, viewing AI as a tool to complement—not replace—the human element in church service. By integrating case studies and empirical data, the study provides practical insights into AI implementation in a church context. Additionally, it explores critiques and alternative views on AI use in the church, presenting a holistic understanding of the subject and contributing to academic discussions on the ethical, theological, and practical implications.
