Literature Review: Dinamika Emosional City Pride Warga Kota pada City Image Melalui Place Attachment Theory

Abstract

Dari perspektif psikologi, khususnya psikologi lingkungan, fenomena kebanggaan warga terhadap kotanya menarik untuk dikaji karena menunjukkan kompleksitas interaksi antara manusia dengan lingkungan urbannya, yang melibatkan aspek kognitif, afektif, dan behavioral. Penelitian ini berfokus untuk mengkaji mekanisme dinamika emosional rasa bangga warga kota kepada kotanya, dan kaitannya city image dari kota tersebut melalui perspektif place attachment theory. Metode yang digunakan adalah Literature Review dengan pendekatan Narrative Review yang memungkinkan eksplorasi topik yang lebih luas serta fleksibilitas dalam menyintesis sumber-sumber referensi. Ruang lingkup penelitian mencakup Place attachment theory yang menyediakan kerangka konseptual untuk memahami bagaimana kebanggaan warga terhadap kotanya terbentuk dan berkembang melalui interaksi dinamis antara lima dimensi utama: attachments, placement, actors, social relationships, dan temporal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembentukan city pride merupakan proses yang kompleks dan multidimensional, diawali dengan adanya city image yang positif yang kemudian memicu proses place attachment melalui keterlibatan aspek afektif, kognitif, dan praktikal. Kepuasan warga yang timbul dari city image yang positif berperan sebagai katalis dalam meningkatkan keterikatan dengan kota, yang kemudian termanifestasi dalam bentuk city pride. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi teoretis dalam pemahaman hubungan antara city image, place attachment, dan city pride, serta implikasi praktis bagi pengembangan kebijakan urban dan strategi pembangunan kota yang berkelanjutan.
