Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of business communication in the interpersonal skills of the Sales Girl Promotion (SPG) profession at the Novel Mice Brand at Rita Supermall Purwokerto, this is considered important because business communication as the basis for the interpersonal skills of sales promotion girls' profession in selling products from the Novel Mice brand at Rita Supermall Purwokerto. The many fashion trends that exist have resulted in many competing brands also entering the world of fashion. In defending consumers from intense competition in the sales promotion market, girls brand Novel mice practices persuasive communication as the main key in making sales and maintaining consumer loyalty. The right persuasive communication strategy is one of the effective ways for the Novel Mive brand to maintain the company's brand position in the eyes of consumers. sales girl promotion (spg) and public relations practitioners also have an important role in the Novel Mice brand, especially in maintaining the company's image in society This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through literature review. The findings in this study are 1). The profession of sales girl promotion (SPG) in addition to promoting products also conducts personal sales or personal selling by interacting personally with customers. In this personal selling activity, a Service Operational Standard (SOP) is needed to ensure customer satisfaction when shopping. 2). The sales strategy carried out by the Sales Girl Promotion (SPG) of the Novel Mice brand at Rita Supermall Purwokerto is by using a persuasive communication strategy, because persuasive communication is not only to attract consumer interest and purchasing power but also has implications for consumer loyalty, this is because consumers get the right and correct information from the products offered. 3). In today's business world, Sales Girl Promotion (SPG does not only focus on the task of supporting product sales, but also plays a role in building the company's image in society through the public relations skills it has.
