Integrasi Pendidikan Agama Hindu dengan Kearifan Lokal dalam Kurikulum Merdeka di SMA Negeri 1 Negerikaton

Abstract
This study aims to analyze the integration of Hindu Religious Education with local wisdom in the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum at SMA Negeri 1 Negerikaton. This integration is important in shaping students' character based on local religious and cultural values, so that they can understand and practice Hindu teachings more contextually in everyday life. This approach also aims to maintain local cultural heritage so that it remains sustainable amidst the increasingly strong current of globalization. The research method used is qualitative research with a case study approach. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews with teachers and students, and analysis of related documents. Data analysis techniques were carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that the integration of Hindu Religious Education with local wisdom is carried out through various strategies, such as a project-based approach, reflective discussion, cultural practices, and the use of learning resources that refer to local wisdom values. In addition, community involvement, including religious and traditional leaders, plays an important role in supporting the effectiveness of this integration. The findings of this study reveal that students showed an increase in understanding religious and cultural values after participating in a learning process based on local wisdom. They become more aware of the importance of maintaining traditions and implementing noble values in social life. However, there are several challenges in implementation, such as the lack of adequate learning resources and the need to improve teacher competence in managing local wisdom-based learning.The conclusion of this study confirms that local wisdom can be an effective medium in learning Hindu Religious Education, especially in strengthening students' character and increasing their understanding of religious teachings. Therefore, a more comprehensive implementation strategy is needed, including training for teachers and the development of a more flexible curriculum, so that this integration can run more optimally and sustainably.
