Ethics of Using Fintech (Financial Technology) for Generation Z: Arthasastra's Perspective

Abstract

This article examines the relationship between financial technology and the role of generation Z with the study of teachings, principles in the book of Arthasastra whether they are still relevant to today's life. In fact, there are still many financial service providers and users who have not fully implemented the principles of Arthasastra properly. The analysis used was qualitative research with a phenomenological approach with secondary and primary data types. Where secondary data is obtained from reviewing previous studies and primary data is obtained through indirect interviews where the researcher sends questionnaires to informants and through observation. The results of the study revealed that STAHN JAWA DWIPA students who are included in Generation Z are present as a generation that uses a lot of technological financial services where they equip themselves with the teachings of Arthasastra so that they avoid the negative impacts of the presence of financial technology
